Instead you will be put into contact with Melissa to settle all details and discuss any specific wishes. When everything is agreed upon and payment has been settled, the creative process begins! When your item is carefully crafted, it will be sent out to you.
All HEIJST leather pieces are 100% hand crafted in Arnhem, The Netherlands.
HEIJST only works with vegetable tanned leather, which is sourced from The Netherlands.
Please note that vegetable tanned leather can change color over time due to sunlight, use and touch.
Moisture can cause dark colored leather to bleed color.
GENERAL . INFORMATION
HEIJST is registered with the Arnhem Chamber of Commerce with number 74523333 and VAT number NL002216403B11. These general terms and conditions apply to all purchase and sales agreements made by HEIJST and its customers through www.melissavanheijst.com. No agreement can be created without your agreement to these terms. By placing an order on the HEIJST website, the customer accepts the general terms and conditions. HEIJST cannot guarantee that the content of the site is free from inaccuracies or typographical errors at all times. Nor can we guarantee that all information is up-to-date. HEIJST can change the content of the site at any time.
ORDER . FULFILLMENT
As each item is individually hand crafted per order, we reserve 2-3 weeks for your order to be processed and created. Please take this timing into consideration when placing your order.
We respect your privacy. Personal information will be saved and handled with care.
SHIPPING . POLICY
Delivery times are based on your location. You will get a notification when your package is on its way.
Any delay and/or damages caused by the shipping company is not within our control.
Customers outside the EU should be aware that they will have to pay import duties and/or local taxes. These are for the account of the customer. If the customer refuses the order, any costs incurred will be borne by the customer.
RETURN . POLICY
All sales are final
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable).
Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.
We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed to your bank account, within a certain amount of days.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or need to be resized. All exchanges must be made within 14 days of the delivery of your original order. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over €75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
